EIGHT
Well... I had something here, but I cannot remember what it was. I don't know why it didn't publish it... dammit.
TWELVE!
So here we are at the last blog and just like the last two, have abandoned all formalism and all I can do is hope I don't fail this class. I have an 8-10 page paper due tomorrow that I haven't started yet. oops. I even told myself that I would start it like a week ago and get a little done at a time but alas, I have thrown that idea right out the window. Though I finished my final piece for this class a head of time! I have to interview him a second time so I could get more info and so it would be less like a business piece. I also got a quite from his mother about him for my second source. I hope that counts.... I think it does. :)
ELEVEN
Hey! I only have this one and then one more and I'll be finished with this blog. I actually thought about using the blog I had to make for my photography class but I wasn't sure if that would get confusing or not. I'm not even sure if I remember what email I used for it... huh. I've noticed that random people read these things and I was just wondering how they even get here. Like is it some stumble upon thing that takes you to a uninteresting Journalism student's blog for said journalism class. (I used said again. yikes. I also did't use it correctly but I'm just going to leave it there.) Someone should write a piece about how people come to read these random blogs.
TEN
I'm honestly running out of blogs to do. I don't quite remember which ones were suppose to be done from the book. Speaking of the book, I like the news clips that accompany the chapters. I find them helpful and it's nice that actual journalists are interview and not just "scholars" or people who know the theory behind writing in this specific form. I have a hard time using "said" all the time and the creative writer cries more and more tears for each "said" and "says" that I use. I'll forgive my self eventually.
NINE
While not very sure of my journalistic skills, I am enjoying the class. I had a lot of fun writing the leads for the fairy tales and the other bit we had to do. It is quite difficult to write a lead and get all of the information needed in one sentence, I kept want to write it like a TV news bulletin. It is also difficult to make it interesting and grab the readers attention.

Meeting Piece
The meeting piece was a fun one to do. I already had to attend the ASRMC meeting for one of my other classes where we have been creating a Literary Journal. At the meeting we, Sun & Sandstone, were passed as a charter, so that was nice. We then had to present our budget for a second time which... is always interesting and always much more difficult than it should be. Even though they have more than enough money, the majority of the members do not see why this is such a cool thing for the school and all those involved but alas... they don't. We did get our money though with some extreme teeth pulling, so that is also good for us. The football team also asked for money and not a single tooth was pulled.

Business Piece
The business piece was and okay one. My original idea fell through at the last minute, which was to interview one of my supervisor about his cleaning business that he owns, but due to conflicting schedules, it didn't work out. So I was stuck interviewing my parents about their rental homes, which is rather dull. Maybe because I hear them talk about it all the time and maybe it's because I have worked on countless houses with them, but it has lost it's charm.
